Radio Computing Services, the leader in digital broadcast technology, has an immediate full time opening for a Software Developer located in either our Ogallala, NE office or our White Plains, New York office. This full-time position can be filled in either of our offices.
Qualifications
A qualified applicant should have the following training, education, and/or equivalent experience:
* Minimum of two years work experience programming in a windows environment with Microsoft Visual Studio and Windows API.
* C/C++, C#, COM, MFC, XML
* Knowledge of Web-based application development.
* Database programming and design using MySQL/MS-SQL.
* Strong communication skills.
* Broadcast or digital audio experience is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Design, modify, develop, write and implement software applications.
* Software applications design using Object Oriented methodologies.
* Perform code reviews and unit testing.
* Create test instructions for the QA department to confirm that applications meet specifications.
* Communicate with users to analyze and understand the functions to be automated, user needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.
* Write and maintain functional and technical specifications using MS Word.
* Research and evaluate software and hardware to assist in programming and to use as program platforms.
* Provide technical assistance to the Technical Support department, as well as participation in end user training.
* Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Become a part of a fast paced customer oriented 24/7 high-tech in-bound call center that assists world class radio and television stations across the U.S. and around the world! Technical Support Engineers are responsible for providing technical information and support to customers and field technicians.
RCS's Support Department is a 24 hour, 365 day operation. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Ogallala, NE. This position is hourly with eligibility for overtime.
Qualifications
A qualified applicant should have the following training, education, certifications, and/or equivalent on the job experience:
* Microsoft XP and 2003 Server with a working knowledge of MS-DOS.
* Basic LAN administration, setup and configuration.
* Prior telephone troubleshooting or call-center experience.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Propensity to learn with a positive attitude and work ethic.
* Ability to multitask and type 35 WPM or more.
* Radio and/or TV broadcast experience is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Assist on-site Field Service Technicians with configuration of PSi Products.
* Remotely install and configure end-user software including updates and patches.
* Respond to client inquiries concerning systems operation and the diagnosing of hardware, software, and operator problems.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and implement actions to correct client-side issues.
* Provide updates, status and completion information to manager, customer and team.
* Documents all aspects of troubleshooting in call tracking software, e-mail or other forms of communication.
* Escalates major software, hardware, or database problems to senior staff, management, or development for immediate involvement.
* Other duties as assigned.

Media Monitors, a subsidiary of RCS, Inc., has full-time and part-time openings for sharp local people who speak and write Spanish and English fluently to monitor Hispanic radio stations.
Broadcast experience is helpful but not required. We offer paid training, a pleasant work environment, and a reasonable wage of $10 per hour, plus overtime when necessary. Media Monitors tracks programming and advertising data from radio stations in major markets across the USA. Both part-time and full-time positions available.
