White Plains, NY (October 19, 2010) -
RCS is proud to announce full direct integration between Listener Driven Radio software and the GSelector music scheduling platform and the highly popular automation software RCS’ Nexgen Digital. These are the latest programs to deliver full compatibility with LDR, integrating listener input from the LDR platform into live on-air programming.
Radio stations around the world are using the LDR platform to give control to their listeners--empowering them to become on-air programming collaborators. Listeners can access a radio station’s playlist via mobile or the station's website and vote for their favorite songs. Input and voting from listeners directly affects the music played on the station in real time.
Now, with LDR's seamless integration into RCS products, Program Directors can schedule voting sessions in any of the RCS music scheduling programs. In addition, RCS' Nexgen Digital automation system will automatically adjust the live playlist based on audience voting results from LDR.
"When we first got together with Daniel Anstandig and his team, we were impressed with the concept of stations being able to automatically react to a live audience. We wanted to make sure that all the RCS products were capable of making the PD's job easier when dealing with this important service. We look forward to helping all the LDR stations." said Philippe Generali, President/CEO of RCS.
"Now with full integration into both scheduling and automation products, the LDR platform is easy for radio stations to install and use in connection with existing studio systems and products," said Daniel Anstandig, President of LDR. "We are excited about this partnership with RCS, giving stations more options for configuring the LDR platform. RCS is a forward-thinking company with an exceptional team and suite of products."
