Southern Cross Austereo and RCS Sound Software have completed their two-year, company-wide software integration project which has seen all SCA metropolitan and regional studios fitted with the state-of-the-art audio playout and music scheduling technology.
The project affected 120 individual audio streams across 38 different SCA markets, collectively delivering more than 20,000 hours of local programming to millions of listeners each week.
Dan Jackson, head of audio operations at SCA said the strong, long-standing relationship between RCS and SCA aided the successful execution of the project. “The combined capabilities of our committed IT and engineering teams allowed us to efficiently implement GSelector and Zetta right around the country and advance day-to-day operations”.
President and CEO of RCS, Philippe Generali, agreed that the relationship between the companies has been mutually advantageous. “SCA will become the largest cluster of terrestrial and streaming stations using the hand-in-glove integration Zetta & GSelector provides”.
