Barry Hill Upped to New Position
RCS, the world’s largest broadcast software company, announced today that Barry Hill has been promoted to Director of Customer Success for The Americas.
Barry has worked in radio for more than 35 years and has been with RCS for 18 years. At the age of 16, Barry got his first job changing tapes for an automated FM station and over the next sixteen worked his way up to hosting a large market morning show as well as Program Director. He joined RCS in 1997 and worked in Technical Support (assisting customers and teaching software), then on to Automation Installation Manager (building automation systems from the ground up) to Director of Engineering (managing radio installations) to his most recent position as Director of Technical Sales.
Philippe Generali, RCS President/CEO outlined the goal of the new position: “Customer relationships are paramount to a company’s future. Barry Hill has proven time and again his connection to our customers and we are happy to have someone here whose total focus is proactive support. Think of Barry as your man on the inside.”
Barry Hill beamed pure enthusiasm on the announcement, “I am so excited about this new position, I feel like I’ve had a shot of adrenaline! I’m so looking forward to engaging even more with my radio friends, old and new!”
