RCS Out & About: Kansas

Eagle Radio in Hutchinson, Kansas experienced a terrible lightning strike during the night of June 29th – wiping out their computers and on-air machines. RCS Sales Rep Carolyn Bell quickly helped get her customer back on the road to recovery. The RCS manufacturing team of Lonnie Burns, Steve Ballard and John Blair quickly gathered machines, audio cards, everything needed to help the station get back on air. Eagle flew their own aircraft to pick up the ‘must have’ equipment. Carolyn Bell and Diana Stokey took the hardware to the local air strip to meet the plane. Eagle’s Chief Engineer Dave Lee commented on the day, “I can’t say enough good things about the crew at RCS! Thank you all for everything you do!”
